Chief Executive Officer and co-founder
Mr. Kantor brings 20 years of experience in the wireless industry to Ondas Networks. His experience includes senior level positions in marketing, finance, and product development at AT&T Wireless, BellSouth International, and Nokia Siemens Networks. Since 2004, Mr. Kantor has focused exclusively on the development of private wireless data network technologies for mission-critical industries including electric and water utility, oil & gas, transportation, municipality and defense. Mr. Kantor has a BA from Columbia University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School.
Chief Technology Officer and co-founder
Mr. Shahar has over 30 years of telecommunications system development experience including the design and implementation of broadband wireless data systems. He has worked for top tier system integrators and service providers including WorldCom, Nortel, and ADC. Mr. Shahar has been awarded multiple patents in the data communications industry, and has been an active participant in major wireless standardization activities including IEEE 802.16. He holds a BSC & MSC in electrical engineering at Tel Aviv University, Israel.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Simpson brings a diverse set of managerial, operational, and engineering skills to the Ondas team. After graduating with honors in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire (UK), Mr. Simpson joined AT&T Bell Laboratories as a software engineer and was rapidly promoted to technical manager. In 1989, Mr. Simpson joined Catapult Communications, a leading developer of telecommunications test equipment for the world’s major wireless equipment manufacturers and operators including Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, Motorola, NEC, NTT DoCoMo, and Nokia Siemens Networks. During his 19-year tenure with Catapult, Mr. Simpson held a variety of senior positions including Vice President of Applications Engineering and Vice President of Product Development. Mr. Simpson was part of the executive team that led Catapult to a successful IPO in 1999.
Chief Revenue Officer
Mr. Palliparambil is a global sales leader with over 20 years of experience developing international ecosystems for technology companies. Based out of Silicon Valley, Mr. Palliparambil has worked with both startup and high-growth companies, aiding in the development of product lines and building high-performing teams that drive large-scale change and global growth. He is a frequent speaker, panelist, and recognized industry leader who has helped with standards development and market adoption in Identification and IoT technologies. Prior to joining ONDAS Networks, Mr. Palliparambil held senior management positions at DHL, Datalogic and NXP Semiconductors. Mr. Palliparambil has an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, an MS in Industrial Management from University of Central Missouri and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Osmania University.
Vice President, Asia
Mr. Chu is the Vice President, Asia at Ondas. He manages the company’s strategy and business activities throughout Asia. He brings to Ondas over 25 years of senior management experience in semiconductor and wireless communication systems. Mr. Chu has facilitated the launch of communication networks for China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, PCCW, Telecom Malaysia, Indonesia Telecom, AT&T and TimeWarner Cable among others. Most recently, Mr. Chu focused on China working with large industrial operators in the energy and manufacturing sectors. Mr. Chu has a BS in Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a MBA from Santa Clara University.
Director of Business Development
Mr. Burchard has more than twenty-five years of experience in the wireless communications industry. Of these twenty-five years, he has fifteen in the development and sales of wireless data networks including senior positions at Pacific Monolithics, Vyyo, Arcadian Networks, and On-Ramp. Mr. Burchard is an expert in private wireless data networks including hardware and software data communications development for utilities including distribution utilities and the oil & gas industry.
